Suited & Connected Issue 38

Illuminating human relationship chemistry via the CROWNLINE Method

Welcome to issue 38 of Suited & Connected©! 😊😊😊

CrownLine — building a community of people interested in understanding vital components of relationship chemistry — is making available tools and a ‘playbook’ that enable functional understanding of the CROWNLINE Method, which can help an individual attain a happier and more prosperous life. The CROWNLINE Method provides for actionable insights according to birthdates, revealing which individuals are best to link up with — be it a friend, mentor, coach/trainer, babysitter/nanny/caretaker, lawyer, wealth management advisor, healthcare practitioner, veterinarian, teacher, business associate, sports teammate, or even a soulmate.

CROWNLINE Method, founded by Todd Anthony Person, fuses elements from mathematics (e.g. Fibonacci sequences, sacred geometry), a deck of playing cards, neuroscience, psychology, and astrology. Birthdates correlate to certain numbers and suits on the cards - and there are identifiable patterns found via algorithms in which certain cards match well or, conversely, are divisive when engaged with other cards.

The deck of playing cards was originally used by several ancient civilizations as a calendar: there are 52 cards representing the 52 weeks in the year. There are (4) suits representing the four seasons. Hearts representing Spring, Clubs representing Summer, Diamonds representing Fall and Spades representing Winter. Each season has (13) weeks, and each suit has thirteen cards. There are (12) Face cards and there are twelve months and (12) astrological signs. If you add up all the Hearts, Clubs, Diamonds, and Spades with Ace being (1) and King being (13) you get 364. Add December 31st being the day of 1 ¼ and you now get 365 ¼ days which is an entire year.'

Just as there are different symbols and diagrams used in geometry, chemistry, and engineering, in the CROWNLINE Method a regular deck of playing cards with its Symbols (Suits), Numbers and Colors all have a meaning in providing relationship compatibility insights regarding a particular person at hand, according to their birthday. Card alignment can manifest in a variety of forms:

  • Exact same cards (e.g., 3 of Diamonds to 3 of Diamonds)

  • Matching one number (e.g., 3 of Spades, 3 of Hearts)

  • Matching a same-suit (e.g., 3 of Clubs, 9 of Clubs)

  • Being suited and connected (e.g. 3 of Diamonds to 4 of Diamonds) in their first card called ‘the birth card’ or their second card known as the ‘astrological ruling card’

  • Additionally, CROWNLINE Method analysis extends beyond the individual’s birthday and associated cards; ‘Family Tree’ chemistry, which includes CROWNLINE Method analysis of birthdays and associated cards of parents and child, can identify alignment, dis-alignment or neutral alignment. The boost associated with alignment can offer an offspring heightened performance, fame and success.

In this 38th issue of Suited & Connected©, we look at patterns of ‘Family Business Success’ — spouses, siblings and half siblings — as we examine the birthdays and associated card alignments of the following individuals who have achieved significant success in business:

-Wolfgang J. Puck & Barbara Ellen Lazaroff/Spago

-Katherine Noel Brosnahan & Andrew Spade/Kate Spade New York

-Edward Willis Scripps & Ellen Browning Scripps/E.W. Scripps

-Laurence Alan Tisch & Preston Robert Tisch/Loews Corporation

-Steven M. Rales & Mitchell P. Rales/Danaher Corporation

Pictured above is celebrity chef and restaurant proprietor Wolfgang Puck. In the picture below is Barbara Lazaroff, interior designer, now ex-wife of Wolfgang Puck. Together the then couple (who married in 1983 and divorced in 2003) created the successful restaurant Spago Beverly Hills. In 1997, Lazaroff completed the new 11,500-square-foot flagship Spago, located in the Beverly Hills Golden Triangle on Canon Drive. Spago restaurants today are located in: Beverly Hills, California; Bodrum, Turkey; Budapest, Hungary; Istanbul, Turkey; Las Vegas, Nevada; Maui, Hawaii; Riyadh, Saudi Arabia; and Singapore.

Barbara Lazaroff designed the Spago Beverly Hills interior, pictured in the above photo. At the close of 2024, Lazaroff co-owns Spago Beverly Hills, Spago Las Vegas and Spago Maui, Chinois on Main, Trattoria del Lupo, Postrio Bar & Grill, and Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill in Las Vegas. She is also a partner in CUT Beverly Hills.

Spago is known for Wolfgang Puck’s creations, which visually tantalize while appeal to diners’ tastebuds.

Wolfgang Puck, born July 8 is the 7 of Diamonds/King of Diamonds; Barbara Lazaroff, born August 1, is the Queen of Diamonds/5 of Diamonds. Each of them were ‘double diamonds’; and they were ‘suited and connected’ (her Queen of Diamonds birth card to his King of Diamonds astrological ruling card) — which, identified by the CROWNLINE Method algorithms activated the ‘fame and business success’ performance that the couple would achieve together.

Katherine Noel Brosnahan & Andrew Spade/Kate Spade New York

Katherine Noel Brosnahan was an American fashion designer and entrepreneur. She was the co-founder and co-owner of the designer brand Kate Spade New York. While a student at Arizona State University, she worked in sales at Carter's Men Shop, a men's clothing store in Phoenix; her co-worker was Andrew (aka Andy) Spade, who later became her husband and business partner.

Andrew (aka Andy) Spade (left) and Kate Noel Brosnahan Spade (right), a designer who later became known professionally as Kate Spade, were married from 1994 until her death June 5, 2018 by suicide after suffering from deep chronic depression. The Kate Spade New York brand was born in the couple’s Tribeca loft crammed with boxes of handbags Kate had designed which she would haul up and down five floors and shipped at the post office. She and Andy woke in the middle of the night to the sound of a fax machine processing orders. They celebrated when fashion editors occasionally wore the bags around New York, though they had paid little to nothing for the privilege. “Nobody was making a salary. Andy was funding everything.” she once was quoted saying for an article, “I just remember thinking, ‘I think we need to shut it down.’ It wasn’t until 1996, three years after incorporation, that they made a profit. That same year, Spade was awarded by the Council of Fashion Designers of America, which typically recognizes brands like Ralph Lauren or DKNY. Then, Saks Fifth Avenue and Neiman Marcus called: They wanted Kate Spade bags in all of their stores. The expansion basically quadrupled their business. “It was a snowball effect,” she says. “It got a little bigger and a little bigger and a little bigger.” Uh huh, it sure did; in 1999, the retailer Neiman Marcus acquired a 56 percent stake in the Spade’s business for $33.6 million. Liz Claiborne later bought the company in 2006 for $124 million. In 2017, it ultimately sold to Coach (now Tapestry) in a $2.4 billion deal. Kate Spade at the time of her death had a net worth of $150 million.

Katherine Noel Brosnahan, born December 24, is the 7 of Hearts/9 of Spades; Andrew (aka Andy) Spade, born May 5, is the Ace of Spades/7 of Diamonds. The couple had same number (7), with Kate’s birth card being the 7 of Hearts and Andy’s astrological ruling card being the 7 of Diamonds. Making a pair of numbers — in this case between husband and wife — is a financial catapult, according to CROWNLINE Method algorithms.

Edward Willis Scripps & Ellen Browning Scripps/E.W. Scripps

In 2025, the Scripps National Spelling Bee will celebrate the 100th anniversary of the very first National Spelling Bee. While only 9 spellers participated in that first competition, their legacy lives on in the millions of students who compete at all levels of the spelling bee program today.

The E.W. Scripps media empire was founded by Edward Willis Scripps (June 18, 1854-March 12, 1926) and his half-sister Ellen Browning Scripps (October 18, 1836-August 3, 1932). Edward Willis Scripps borrowed $10,000 at age 24 to start Penny Press in Cleveland, Ohio, in 1878. He and his half-sister created the E.W. Scripps Company, America's largest chain of newspapers, linking Midwestern industrial cities with booming towns in the West. Since the 1920s, the publicly listed, Cincinnati-based company has been overseen by descendants of the founder, first through a family trust and now through a voting agreement to which approximately 70 members are parties. The E.W. Scripps Company owns about 65 broadcast news stations across the country and has administered the National Spelling Bee since 1941. Publicly traded Scripps Network Interactive, which owned the family's cable TV holdings, was sold to Discovery in 2017 in a $14.6 billion deal. Scripps clan also exited the newspaper business in 2015 after merging their print interests with those of Journal Media Group.

Ellen Browning Scripps (October 18, 1836 – August 3, 1932) partnered with her half brother Edward Willis Scripps to co-found what would become a media empire. She was an American journalist and philanthropist who was the founding donor of several major institutions in Southern California. By the 1920s, Ellen Browning Scripps was worth an estimated $30 million (or $3 billion in 2024 dollars), most of which she gave away. She appeared on the cover of Time magazine after founding Scripps College in Claremont, California. She also donated millions of dollars to organizations worldwide that promised to advance democratic principles and women's education. She helped to found the Scripps Institution of Oceanography, Scripps Research Institute, and Scripps Health —all located in the La Jolla neighborhood of the greater San Diego area.

Scripps College is a higher learning institution for women, located along with the other Claremont Colleges — Claremont McKenna College; Harvey Mudd College; Pitzer College; and Pomona College.

Ellen Browning Scripps secured the 170-acre parcel on which Scripps Oceanography now stands, funded the construction of its first laboratory, its iconic pier, and Ritter’s residence, and bankrolled its early operating expenses. Scripps Oceanography is only one of several entities around Southern California including the Bishop’s School in La Jolla, Scripps Health and the Scripps Research Institute in San Diego, and Scripps College in Claremont, California, that she helped establish with her support.

Edward Willis Scripps, born June 18, is the Queen of Clubs/10 of Spades; Ellen Browning Scripps, born October 18, is the 4 of Clubs/Jack of Spades. The half siblings were ‘suited and connected’ — his 10 of Spades astrological ruling card to her Jack of Spades astrological ruling card. This ‘suited and connected’ pattern, identified by the CROWNLINE Method algorithm, activated a fame and business success performance for the half-siblings brother and sister, who, remarkably had an 18 years age difference between them.,

Laurence Alan Tisch & Preston Robert Tisch/Loews Corporation

Laurence Alan Tisch (March 5, 1923 to November 15, 2003)

Preston Robert Tisch, aka Bob Tisch, (April 29, 1926-November 15, 2005)

Laurence Alan Tisch, born March 5, is the 5 of Spades/6 of Hearts; Preston Robert Tisch, born April 29, is the 5 of Clubs/Ace of Spades. The brothers had same number (5) birth card.

Loews Corporation traces its roots to 1946 when Laurence Alan Tisch (aka Larry Tisch) persuaded his parents to invest $125,000 to buy a resort hotel in Lakewood, New Jersey. Laurence's brother Preston Robert (aka ‘Bob’) joined the business shortly thereafter. The Tisch brothers began to invest their profits in expanding the hotel business. By 1956, the brothers were in a position to build their first hotel, the Americana in Bal Harbour, Florida, for $17 million in cash. In the wake of the landmark 1948 Supreme Court antitrust ruling in United States v. Paramount Pictures, Inc., all the the major movie studios, including Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer (MGM), were ordered to sell off the movie theater chains they owned and operated. The Tisch brothers purchased a controlling interest in Loew’s Theatres from MGM in 1959, a nationwide chain of 102 movie theaters. This acquisition formed the foundation of the modern-day Loews Corporation, and the company was listed on the New York Stock Exchange that same year. By the summer of 1960, the brothers had gained control of the company; they became co-chairmen. The theaters were aging and not suited to then-current movie-going trends, which anticipated the multiplex; however, the theaters were located on highly valuable city property. Almost immediately, the Tisch brothers began closing and demolishing many of these theaters, selling the vacant lots to developers. This hastened the end of the classic movie ‘palaces’ from the Golden Age of Hollywood.

The brothers soon diversified the Loews business, successfully venturing into a variety of areas as the 1960s and 1970s progressed. Loews acquired Lorillard Tobacco Company in 1968, CNA Financial in 1974, and the Bulova Watch Company in 1979. Through acquisitions, Loews's revenues grew from $100 million in 1970 to more than $3 billion by a decade later. Loews sold the theater business in 1985 (it continued operating under the Loew's brand name, while the investment operates as Loews). Laurence Tisch briefly owned, through Loews, a significant portion of television and radio broadcaster CBS in the 1980s. As chairman of CBS, Laurence Tisch also approved the deal that brought late-night host David Letterman to the network from NBC. Loews involvement in CBS ended in 1995, with the sale of CBS to Westinghouse Electric Corporation for $5.4 billion, of which Tisch’s ownership netted him $2 billion.

Today the Tisch Family is Worth $10.1 Billion. In addition to their naming rights of New York University's Tisch School of Arts, the family has a 50% ownership stake of the New York Giants of the National Football League (NFL). James S. Tisch, son of Laurence Alan Tisch, is set to retire as President & CEO as of December 31, 2024. Loews Board has elected Benjamin J. Tisch as President & CEO to succeed his father, James S. Tisch, who in turn will become Chairman of the Board of Directors.

Steven M. Rales & Mitchell P. Rales/Danaher Corporation

Steven M. Rales, whose net worth is estimated in 2024 to be about $12 billion, built his fortune mostly through running with his brother, Mitchell P. Rales, the Danaher Corporation, an industrial design and manufacturing conglomerate that designs, manufactures, and markets medical, industrial, and commercial products and services. Steven M. Rales also owns a film production company, Indian Paintbrush, that has helped support numerous movies by Wes Anderson, among them The Darjeeling Limited (2007), Moonrise Kingdom (2012), The Grand Budapest Hotel (2014), and Isle of Dogs (2018). Together, Steven and his brother Mitchell have acquired more than three dozen companies through Danaher.

When the movie’s director Wes Anderson collected his best-comedy Golden Globe for “The Grand Budapest Hotel,” the very first person he thanked from the stage was Steve Rales. Interestingly enough, Wes Anderson, born May 1, is a 5 of Spades/9 of Clubs. Wes and Steven Rales have the same birth card number (5).

Mitchell P. Rales co-founded Danaher Corporation with his brother in 1984 and the art museum Glentone with his wife Emily Wei in 2006. Mitchell is also the chairman of ESAB, president of the National Gallery of Art, and the top limited partner of the Washington Commanders of the National Football League (NFL). Mitchell’s net worth is estimated to be $5 billion.

Steven M. Rales, born March 31, is the 5 of Clubs/7 of Hearts; Mitchell P. Rales, born August 21, is the 5 of Clubs/Jack of Hearts. Steven and Mitchell have identical birth cards — the 5 of Clubs.

Todd’s Takeaways:

There are some family businesses that have been around for 100 years or more, and continue to thrive under the leadership of five or more generations. The CROWNLINE Method algorithms have detected patterns for family business success; sometimes the ‘Family Tree’ signals a seismic financial opportunity for the child or children produced by parent birthdays compatibility; or it can be signaled by a ‘suited and connected’ halo for the child or children, enabling a fame and success trajectory in their chosen endeavors. In almost all cases, these patterns have potential for generational wealth.

In this 38th issue of Suited & Connected©, we have shared with you the following patterns in card alignment that activates worldwide fame, business partnership success, and extraordinary wealth:

  • Birth card of a person is ‘suited and connected’ to the other person’s astrological ruling card (Spago)

  • Birth card and astrological ruling card of each person is the ‘same number’ (Kate Spade New York)

  • Astrological ruling card of one individual is ‘suited and connected’ to the astrological ruling card of the other individual. (E.W. Scripps)

  • Birth card of one individual is ‘same number’ as birth card of the other individual (Loews Corporation)

  • Birth card of one individual is ‘identical’ to the birth card of the other; additionally, the astrological ruling cards of the two individuals are ‘same suit’. (Danaher Corporation)

PEOPLE ARE TALKING…

Chantal S., Executive recruiter, says “Gifted, Exceptional, Entertaining and Unforgettable are only a few words to describe my experience with Todd Anthony Person and The CROWNLINE Method. This is an exceptional technique utilized to match human relationship chemistry at all levels from business to soulmates. There are multiple pattern levels from one-on-one matching to full family trees explaining your compatibility with certain individuals. I understood how I connect with my family as well as with business associates. It also showed how incompatible I am with certain people and how some of my past love relationships were doomed. I highly recommend that experience for anyone looking to better understand relationships new or old. It’s fascinating and even if you are not a believer in zodiac signs, cards, and planets, you will understand the method to connect.

We were indeed well-suited and connected to one another, but the (cards) confirmation from Todd took out the guesswork. Soon after, we were married and have been for the past decade. I didn’t see Todd again until 2023, and the information he could deliver from his CrownLine consultations had increased tenfold. He told my husband and I that we would be moving that year — and we did. He told us that we would have an excellent money-making year, and we did. Everything he told us happened down to the day! Todd’s system is impressive and has helped me navigate through my life experience with more certainty and clarity.”
