Suited & Connected Issue #20

Illuminating human relationship chemistry via the CROWNLINE Method

Welcome to the 20th issue of Suited & Connected©! 😊😊😊

CROWNLINE Method, founded by Todd Anthony Person, examines individual birthdays and leverages the 52 playing cards deck to illuminate human relationship chemistry.

The deck of playing cards was originally used as a calendar: there are 52 cards representing the 52 weeks in the year. There are (4) suits representing the four seasons. Hearts representing Spring, Clubs representing Summer, Diamonds representing Fall and Spades representing Winter. Each season has (13) weeks, and each suit has thirteen cards. There are (12) Face cards and there are twelve months and (12) astrological signs. If you add up all the Hearts, Clubs, Diamonds, and Spades with Ace being (1) and King being (13) you get 364. Add December 31st being the day of 1 ¼ and you now get 365 ¼ days which is an entire year.

Was it a 2-pointer or a 3-pointer? You make the call! The game of professional basketball has radically changed as more emphasis has been placed on 3-point shooting. 😊😊😊

The National Basketball Association (NBA) Playoffs feature the best teams with phenomenal players. Some of the players are ‘in the groove’, or ’zoning’ — phrases often used to describe a ‘place and time’ where everything is going right, coming together, propelling the player — and their team - to win games, series, and advance toward the ultimate NBA League accomplishment of NBA World Champion.

In NBA history there have been several superstars — most recently Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, and LeBron James. But there are up-and-coming superstars who are proving on the basketball court their profound abilities, among the skills 3-point shooting accuracy.

The CROWNLINE Method can be leveraged — examining the birthday of a player along with their 1-year or 7-year cycle chart to identify windows of opportunity and performance. In this 20th issue of Suited & Connected©, Todd evaluates “Timing” of 5 players who we see performing at the highest degree of excellence through their playoff stats, and in some cases ‘buzzer beater’ shots that win the game for their team.

Todd will first discuss Michael Jordan’s birth and astrological cards, in particular the significance of his 8Diamonds card, and how it uncannily comes into play for today’s basketball superstars. Furthermore, Todd will, after presenting Michael Jordan’s CROWNLINE Method dynamic, proceed to describe a pattern narrative of several players with super swag in this year’s NBA Playoffs.

Some of the narratives will demonstrate how the 8Diamonds figures in to player swag; other narratives will center on how the player’s cards are either in or traveling through the CROWNLINE or Jupiter columns, or moving to a periodical position in which their card is either on top of, or very close to, the coveted 8Diamonds, which provides for extra performance and fame-producing energies.

The names and faces are relatively newer; Todd calls it ‘a changing of the guard’. The following five players are the focus of our 20th issue of Suited & Connected©:

Anthony Edwards, Minnesota Timberwolves

Jalen Brunson, New York Knicks

Luka Doncic, Dallas Mavericks

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander aka SGA, Oklahoma City Thunder

Jayson Tatum, Boston Celtics

Editor’s Note: Five more players with NBA Playoff swag will be analyzed in Suited & Connected© issue #22.

MICHAEL JORDAN & THE 8 OF DIAMONDS POTENTIAL

Michael Jordan’s birthday is Feb. 17, making him a 8Diamonds/5Clubs. All opportunities in life are at the feet of those whose birth card is the 8Diamonds; their achievements depend only on heights they impose on themselves.

Michael Jordan played 15 seasons in the NBA between 1984 and 2003, winning six NBA championships with the Chicago Bulls.

On April 20th 1986, Jordan scored an NBA Playoff record 63 points, but the Bulls dropped a 135-131 double-overtime decision to the Celtics at Boston Garden in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference First Round and would be swept in three games. Nonetheless, Celtics star Larry Bird was impressed with his adversary’s super scoring performance. “That was God disguised as Michael Jordan,” said Bird during an interview after the game..

An assessment by Todd of Jordan’s cyclical performance according to the CROWNLINE Method indicates that in April of 1986, Jordan was in the Jupiter Column in his 91-day seasonal chart.

The 8Diamonds is one of three cards —along with the 10Clubs and King of Spades that forms the CROWNLINE in the Life Spread.

#23 Michael Jordan was 21 years old during his final season at North Carolina and his first season playing professional basketball in the National Basketball Association (NBA).

Anthony Edwards, has been told he is a lot like Michael Jordan.

ANTHONY EDWARDS, MINNESOTA TIMBERWOLVES, Aug. 5th

The 3-pointer from the wing right in a defender’s face to open the game. The 10-foot mid-range jumper from the dotted circle in the paint for the and-1. The 15-foot turnaround jumper from the free throw line. The back-the-defender down fadeaway and the driving layup late in the fourth quarter with the game on the line. After four quarters of high-level playoff basketball between Minnesota and Denver, Timberwolves Anthony Edwards produced a playoff-career high 43 points on a masterful 17-for 29 shooting performance in a 106-99 victory against the Nuggets in Game1 of their Western Conference semifinals series. In Game 4 Edwards scored 44 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists, 2 steals, and 1 block.

Many say the 22-year-old Edwards looks a lot like Jordan when Jordan was 22.

Edwards wants to be known as the first Anthony Edwards.

In a recent interview he talked up his ability to hit 3-point shots. Pun intended, a point well taken. Jordan retired as a career 33% three-point shooter on just 1.7 attempts per game. He didn't shoot 20% from three until his fifth season when he was 25-years old. At 22, Edwards shot 36% on 6.7 attempts per game.

Just when you start seeing differences between Jordan and Edwards, CROWNLINE Method founder Todd Anthony Person explains why so many fans see similarities between the two: “Michael Jordan and Anthony Edwards, though their respective birthdays occur on a different day during the year: HAVE THE SAME TWO CARDS — 8Diamonds/5Clubs!”

6’6" Michael Jordan birthday is Feb. 17; 6’4" Anthony Edwards birthday is Aug. 5. Jordan and Edwards cards are the 8Diamonds/5Clubs.

Todd on Timing: Anthony Edwards 8Diamonds sat in CROWNLINE in Anthony’s 91-day cycle that started on February 4 and ended May 5, 2024. During that period, Edwards led his team for the season in scoring and other important categories, and also during that period has established himself now as the leader and the face of the Minnesota Timberwolves franchise.

JALEN BRUNSON, NY KNICKS, Aug. 31, 8Hearts/6Clubs

Jalen Brunson, New York Knicks 6’2" point guard, recently became the third player in NBA history to total 300+points and 70+ assists through the first 9 games of a post-season.

Jalen Brunson’s birthday is Aug. 31, making hi 8Hearts/6Clubs

Brunson, point guard of the New York Knicks, became the third player in NBA history to total 300+ points and 70+ assists through the first 9 games of a postseason, joining: Michael Jordan (1989) and LeBron James (2018). Brunson is coming off the best regular season of his career where he averaged 28.7 points, 3.6 rebounds and 6.7 assists per contest while shooting 47.9% from the field and 40.1% from the three-point range in 77 games.

Todd on Timing: On Aug. 31, 2023, Jalen’s birth card the 8Hearts moved and sat in the CROWNLINE on the “Star Card” the 8 of Diamonds (Michael Jordan’s birth card). When someone’s card is sitting on the 8 of Diamonds for any time period there is heightened opportunity for excellence. The performance of Brunson this season clearly indicates this.

LUKA DONCIC, DALLAS MAVERICKS, Feb. 28, 10Clubs/5Clubs

Luka Doncic, Dallas Mavericks, is a 6’7" point guard

Luka Doncic, born Feb. 28, is the 10Clubs/5Clubs.

Luka Doncic, the Dallas Mavericks superstar guard from Slovenia, led the NBA in scoring and finished third in the 2024 NBA MVP Award, his highest finish in the MVP voting in his career.

Doncic, now age 25, has been selected first team all-NBA four consecutive seasons.

The Mavericks this season were the Southwest Division champions.

Todd on Timing: Luka was drafted and entered the NBA as a 19-year-old teen. At age 21, Luka began a new 7-year cycle, which would cover the age period of 21-27. His birth card (10Clubs) would move and sit for seven years on the coveted 8 of Diamonds. During this cycle, Luka has been a first team all-NBA selection for four consecutive years, and while in this cycle led the NBA League in scoring, and established himself as the face of the Dallas Mavericks franchise and a bona fide global superstar.

SHAI GILGEOUS-ALEXANDER OKC THUNDER, JULY 12, 3Diamonds/9Spades

Oklahoma City Thunder 6’6" guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (aka SGA) was runner-up for 2024 NBA MVP

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (aka SGA) birthday is July 12, making him 3Diamonds/9Spades

At 25, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander’s resume is impressive. Although he finished a distinct second behind three-time winner Denver Nugget Nikola Jokic, who won the award by a landslide, SGA is a phenom.

This marks back-to-back top-five MVP finishes for Gilgeous-Alexander, a Canadian who played his college basketball at Kentucky.

Some notables from Michael C. Wright published in NBA.com:

Most impressive game: Gilgeous-Alexander scored 40 points on Nov. 22, 2023, against the Chicago Bulls, which included 12 assists, five rebounds and three blocks. It was Gilgeous-Alexander’s only 40-point double-double this season and just the second of his career. The 25-year-old managed to pull it off with 2023 All-Defensive first-teamer Alex Caruso as his primary defender.

Most impressive milestone: The NBA’s current leader in steals is on pace to become just the third player in league history behind Michael Jordan (five seasons) and Stephen Curry (2015-16) to average 30-plus points and two-plus steals while shooting 50% or better from the field.

But what have you done for me lately, OKC fans need not ask? May 13, 2024, SGA scored 34 points, and OKC Thunder overcame a Dallas franchise playoff record of 13 blocks, rallying for a 100-96 victory to even their Western Conference semifinal series at 2-2.

Todd on Timing: SGA, on July 12, 2023, his astrological card (9Spades), moved to the Neptune card in the Neptune row, which is the seventh card in the seventh row. Starting on his birthday (July 12), the 9Spades would go through and sit in the CROWNLINE for the first 156 days. This is one of the most coveted positions for either a 1-year or 7-year cycle. SGA had the highest card in the deck (King of Spades) during his 52-day Mars cycle, which governs ‘men and athletic competition’. His statistics and accolades for this 2023-24 season exemplify the potential excellent outcomes that come with going through the CROWNLINE.

JAYSON TATUM, BOSTON CELTICS, Mar. 3, 7Spades/8Hearts

When ‘Zero’ Has An Infinitely Higher Value: On November 4, 2023, Tatum put up 32 points and 11 rebounds in a 124–114 win over the Brooklyn Nets and became the youngest player in Celtics history to reach 10,000 career points at 25 years and 246 days of age

Boston Celtics star Jayson Tatum was born March 3, making him 7Spades/8Hearts.’

Two words that fall short of adequately describing Jayson Tatum’s basketball career thus far: “Good Times”.

No, no, no. These are exceptional times for Jayson Tatum — much to the delight of Boston Celtics fans and anyone who truly loves exceptional basketball performance.

Jayson Tatum, who played for Duke in college, was selected with the third overall pick by the Boson Celtics in the 2017 NBA draft and voted to the NBA all-rookie first team in 2018. A five-time NBA All-Star and three-time All-NBA selection, he was named the NBA Eastern Conference finals MVP in 2022 and helped the Celtics reach the NBA final.

Tatum, 6’7", also won a gold medal on the 2020 U.S. men's Olympic basketball team in Tokyo. He holds the record for most points scored in an NBA All-Star game, with 55, and the most points scored in a Game 7 of any NBA Playoff series, with 51.

On November 4, 2023, Tatum put up 32 points and 11 rebounds in a 124–114 win over the Brooklyn Nets and became the youngest player in Celtics history to reach 10,000 career points at 25 years and 246 days of age. On November 20, he scored a season-high 45 points to go along with 13 rebounds and six assists in a 121–118 overtime loss against Charlotte. On January 25, 2024, Tatum was named an Eastern Conference starter for the 2024 NBA All-Star Game , marking his fifth consecutive selection and his second selection in a row as a starter.

And it keeps coming. On February 13, 2024, Tatum put up 41 points, with 31 of them coming from the first half and tying a career-high for points scored in a first half, 14 rebounds, five assists, and five three-pointers in a 118–110 win over the Brooklyn Nets. He also joined Larry Bird as the only players in Celtics franchise history to put up at least 25 40-point games. .

Todd on Timing: Just like Jalen Brunson, Jayson Tatum is spending this year sitting on the 8Diamonds in the CROWNLINE. The common thread for all five players chronicled in this 20th issue of Suited & Connected© were experiencing 8 of Diamonds energy during the 2023-24 NBA season.
